Hiding Curtain Poles and Tracks

Hiding Curtain Poles and Tracks

There are ways of hiding curtain tracks or poles.  One way is by nstalling a facia board which can be painted the same colour as the ceiling or you can create a pelmet which can be upholstered to match the curtains or you can cover the pole or track with fabric swags or drapery.

Otherwise all poles and tracks show. Poles usually have rings on them and can be very attractive tracks on the other hand are typically white and can be unsightly when the curtains are not drawn. The Metropole a fancy track which is made to look like a pole and is visibly much better than a standard track.

Ville France Sur Du Mer

Last night we went to The Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat for a drink, it's about 15 years since I was last there and has recently had a refurbishment.  It has been done to a very hight standard as you might expect.  I would've taken away and added some things but I did like it very much overall.  Especially the entrance lounge which is all white and has a lovely Lalique glass table with a super-large hanging lantern above it with birds and flowers all over it cast in some kind of metal.

I know lots of interior designers who do not use images of their own work on their sites.  I do!
